🙈 MegaETH, Mainnet Scheduled for Today
MegaETH is launching its mainnet today.
However, the token launch date remains unknown.
What this means is that, unlike typical projects, it sets three unique KPIs, one of which must be met to reach the TGE.
These KPIs are: USDM issuance of at least 500M over 30 days; 10 MegaMafia apps launched and a certain number of transactions generated; and three apps generating over $50,000 in daily fees for 30 consecutive days.
Unlike most trash projects that make empty promises about community benefits before the TGE and then disregard holders and sell off their team's holdings after the TGE, MegaETH is building an ecosystem where its tokens can be used first, before the TGE.
In other words, rather than launching a token and then building the utility and ecosystem, the strategy is to first build the utility and ecosystem and then develop them to a certain level to prioritize the token's raison d'être.
Personally, you shouldn't fall in love with a coin, but I'm so impressed with Aene's buildup process that I'm tempted to hold it for a while.
One positive aspect is that ECHO participants will also receive 20% of the tokens immediately unlocked during the TGE. This is a level that's enough to cover the principal at 1B, which is a good thing.
I'm not sure what will happen in the future, but so far, I think they're a very capable team. If there's a chance to exploit USDM upon mainnet launch, I think it's worth investing in.
I like this strategy better than Monad, which was once considered a competitor. $MEGA 10B Going.
