The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced agreements with 24 organizations.
The Genesis Initiative is a historic national initiative that will leverage the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate scientific discovery, strengthen national security, and drive energy innovation.
“The 24 new research collaborations announced today are just the beginning. We are implementing President Trump’s directive to include the entire scientific community—including businesses, universities, nonprofits, and federal agencies—in the Genesis Initiative,” said Michael Kratsios, Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. “Utilizing cutting-edge AI technologies in scientific research will significantly improve the efficiency of American scientists and researchers. The Genesis Initiative will help American scientists automate experimental design, accelerate simulations, and generate predictive models, leading to breakthroughs in areas such as energy, manufacturing, and drug development.”
