TIL, threejs animation mixer does not allow you to set weights for bones, so it is not actually possible to blend aiming (upper body) and running (lower body) together.
I got two options:
1. Manually chop chop all the animations I use and will use and for eternity make sure upper and lower body are in sync
2. Ask AI to build an advanced AnimationMixer
What should i do frens???
I feel like 2 tbh, how hard can it be? ThreeJS animationMixer is 700 LOC

New stuff !
The past couple days were a wild vibe..
The game with r3f (react three fiber) was much, much easier to get started with, as there are many libraries that provide great building blocks so I was mainly finding the right blocks on the internet and just telling claude
The way I’ve done this was to bake the bone animations to texture (VAT) and interpolate in shader but yeah it’s a lot
Claude can prolly do it tho
I knew it! If I smelled FOMO, there'd be a toilet to run into! 😁
