Imo this is also a healthy development because it will inevitably force builders to build quality products and put in an effort to build sustainable economics around them.
In the long-term, the competitive environment, the relentless battle for attention, users & liquidity, and the increasing standards demanded by investors (re protocol revenue + token value capture), will hence be net beneficial.
For large-scale adoption we need to raise the bar. Especially on the app layer. But with the infra stack maturing, I'm convinced we're nearing a crucial tipping point.
