Current sentiment is that blockchains are mostly just good for traditional finance, and that the game is essentially over, with corporations pulling off yet another come-from-behind victory. They’ve won again.
This couldn’t resonate with me less. Blockchains are useful for so much more.

I don’t think history is deterministic btw. if ethereum managed to get to solana’s scalability ~5 years ago and went hard on gtm, the world would look v different. we could end up with 1 chain everyone built on top of instead of 10 crypto active chains and 10 corp chains
