Tbh, I have always been torn between two theories about the banksters behind Bitcoin Core:
1. They wanted to become large centralized Lightning hubs to earn on fees.
2. They didn't care about making profit: the goal was to destroy Bitcoin.
Now I'm positive it's the latter 🤔

I think it’s more clear now what we always knew - Blockstream a for profit company subverted Bitcoin to advance their second layer solutions to milk Bitcoin for everything they could.
