Zimbabwean mining company Kuvimba introduces blockchain-based traceability system for its gold mines

According to ChainCatcher, Kuvimba, Zimbabwe's largest gold mining company, has introduced a blockchain-based state-to-market traceability system in the country's gold production. The system ensures that all of Kuvimba's gold can be traced from the mine to the international market, enhancing the transparency and legality of gold from mining to trading. The system has been put into use at the Freda Rebecca and Jenna mines, and plans to expand it to other minerals as production scale expands.
