Pixelverse, a crypto gaming brand that has rapidly gained popularity recently thanks in part to the success of its Telegram game PixelTap , launched the PIXFI Token on The Open Network (TON) on Thursday and revealed its plans. Reward players with Airdrop.

The PIXFI Token has a total supply of 5 billion, and a Pixelverse representative confirmed that 13.6% of it is currently in circulation, giving the Token a market Capital of around $17 million. It has accumulated around $42 million in volume to date.
Regardless of the current bullish momentum, the launch of PIXFI has paved the way for Pixelverse's next steps, including offering Token rewards to players via Airdrop.
According to Thursday's Telegram post, Pixelverse will allow PixelTap players to receive Non-Fungible Token starting July 25, with the Non-Fungible Token 's rarity depending on their in-game level.
PixelTap players and Pixelverse console users holding Rare, Epic, or Legendary level Non-Fungible Token will be able to claim PIXFI Token via Airdrop, while Popular or Uncommon Non-Fungible Token holders will not receive Token allocation.
But there is one important thing to consider. Users who choose to claim their PIXFI immediately will only be able to claim 10% of the allocated Token , with the remaining 90% “redistributed into the PIXFI community incentive pool.”
Players can earn more or all of their allocated amount by continuing to play PixelTap and/or using the Pixelverse console. These are not unlocked over time, but are driven by interaction.
“This innovative system rewards users for their actions similar to how battle tokens work in Web2 games, meaning the more Pixelverse products you use, the more Token you can withdraw PIXFI”.
Pixelverse also revealed plans to continue building in the TON ecosystem – which is closely linked to the messaging app Telegram. Following the launch of PIXFI and upcoming Airdrop plans, Pixelverse plans to deploy a dedicated Layer 2 scaling network on TON with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility, called Pixelchain.
The Pixelchain testnet will be launched next week, with Pixelverse describing it as the first EVM chain to launch on TON – although there are many others. Pixelchain will be used to power games and applications built under the Pixelverse brand.
