Odaily reported that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission approved the Grayscale Bit Mini Trust's 19b-4 form last week. According to the S-1 file released in March, the trust's ticker is "BTC" and will be a "spin-off" product of GBTC, which will be traded on the New York Stock Exchange Arca. Grayscale stated that GBTC holders will see a portion of their holdings converted into the new fund, which is not expected to constitute a taxable event.
