Odaily Odaily News Grayscale released a notice for GBTC shareholders on its official website, stating that if you are a GBTC shareholder before the registration date of July 30, 2024, then the shares of Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC) will be settled in your account in the next few days. In addition, Grayscale stated on its website that Bitcoin Mini Trust is Grayscale&#39;s lowest-cost Bitcoin fund. As of July 30, its holdings were 26,935.8375 BTC, its asset management scale (non-GAAP) was approximately US$1.774 billion, and the number of outstanding shares was 303,690,100.

Grayscale: If you were a GBTC shareholder as of July 30th, your BTC Mini Trust shares will be settled into your account in the coming days.

According to Odaily's official data, as of July 29, Grayscale GBTC holds 270,165.5012 BTC, with an asset management scale (non-GAAP) of $18,173,306,518.27, and a circulating supply of 304,600,100 shares; Grayscale ETHE holds 2,171,375.8882 ETH, with an asset management scale (non-GAAP) of $7,187,037,052.43, and a circulating supply of 256,248,500 shares; Grayscale ETH holds 342,638.4565 ETH, with an asset management scale (non-GAAP) of $1,134,099,027.26, and a circulating supply of 363,618,500 shares.

The grayscale ETHE holdings have decreased to approximately 2.17 million ETH.

Odaily analyst James Seyffart stated that GBTC fell 10% pre-market, possibly due to the deployment of funds to the Grayscale Micro Bitcoin Trust, with the record date for the split being today, and BTC is expected to start trading tomorrow.

Odaily reports that Bloomberg analyst James Seyffart posted on the X platform to clarify that they currently only expect the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC) to start trading tomorrow, but it still needs to obtain final "approval" from the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The regulatory agency needs to confirm that the relevant prospectus documents are effective, and the result is expected to be announced after or before the market closes today.
