Odaily Odaily reported that data disclosed by Trader T showed that BlackRock IBIT opened today, with a pre-market trading volume of US$20 million, 28% of which were active buy orders and 32% were active sell orders.

According to the official update from Blackrock, the spot Bitcoin ETF IBIT had a market capitalization of $20,554,349,504.61 as of August 12, with holdings of 347,994.5955 Bitcoins and a total of 611,040,000 shares outstanding. Additionally, their spot Ethereum ETF ETHA had a market capitalization of $780,328,557.45 as of August 12, with holdings of 293,938.9533 ETH and a total of 38,800,000 shares outstanding.

Blackrock's IBIT holdings have increased to approximately 348,000 BTC.

The president of The ETF Store, Inc., Nate Geraci, disclosed data on the X platform showing that the iShares Bitcoin ETF, a BlackRock spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund, has attracted approximately $20.5 billion in assets since its launch in 2024. Among the 375 new ETFs launched in 2024, the second largest non-spot BTC ETF has only attracted around $1.3 billion in inflows. IBIT, FBTC, ARKB, and BITB, which are spot Bitcoin ETFs, have become the four largest exchange-traded fund products launched in 2024.

2024 to date, BlackRock IBIT has attracted approximately $20.5 billion.
