According to the latest data from Ultrasound.money, 77,091 ETH have been issued in the past 30 days, and the current supply of Ethereum tokens has increased to approximately 120.28 million ETH. According to data from the Ethereum L2 analysis platform Growthepie, on August 12, the total daily transaction volume across the entire L2 ecosystem reached a record-breaking 12.42 million transactions. In an article on August 13, Onchain Foundation's research director Leon Waidmann commented on this milestone, stating that "scalability is rapidly improving" and "user activity is at its peak." The platform reports that since the beginning of 2024, the daily transaction volume of the L2 ecosystem has grown by 140%, driven primarily by Base, whose transaction volume peaked at over 4 million in late July. Note that Growthepie only counts transactions executed by users or smart contracts, and excludes system transactions. Basescan data shows that the daily transaction volume of the Base network has surged by 700% over the past six months. Growthepie also reported that the total stablecoin supply on L2 networks is higher than the combined on-chain total of Solana and BNB Smart Chain, being 150% more than Solana and 94% more than BNB Smart Chain. Meanwhile, according to Etherscan data, the daily transaction volume on Ethereum L1 has remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.1 million for most of the year.
