BlackRock ETFs are currently the largest holders of all ETF issuers, with ETH and Bitcoin holdings worth approximately US$21,217,107,987.

Odaily News: Grayscale has updated the data of its Bitcoin and Ethereum funds as of August 15th, as follows:

1. Grayscale's Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) holds 230,878.3243 BTC, with an asset management scale (non-GAAP) of $13,173,139,123.02 and 289,430,100 outstanding shares.

2. Grayscale's Bitcoin Minifund (BTC) holds 31,358.7854 BTC, with an asset management scale (non-GAAP) of $1,789,226,615.27 and 353,580,100 outstanding shares.

3. Grayscale's Ethereum Trust (ETHE) holds 1,892,166.8742 ETH, with an asset management scale (non-GAAP) falling below the $5 billion mark, currently at $4,825,631,022.66, and 223,558,500 outstanding shares.

4. Grayscale's Ethereum Minifund (ETH) holds 362,662.375 ETH, with an asset management scale (non-GAAP) of $924,905,108.25 and 384,868,500 outstanding shares.

Grayscale holdings data update: ETHE size has dropped to about $4.8 billion

According to Farside Investors' monitoring, as of the time of writing, the data for the US spot Bitcoin ETF and spot Ethereum ETF (August 15) is as follows:

Spot Bitcoin ETF: GBTC net outflow of $25 million; BITB net inflow of $6.2 million; BTC net inflow of $13.7 million; ARKB, EZBC no capital inflow or outflow.

Spot Ethereum ETF: ETHE net outflow of $42.5 million; ETHW, CETH, ETH, EZET no capital inflow or outflow.

Yesterday, GBTC had a net outflow of $25 million and ETHE had a net outflow of $42.5 million

According to the 13-F filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Wisconsin Investment Board significantly increased its investment in the Blackrock Spot Bitcoin ETF in the second fiscal quarter of 2024, adding 447,651 shares, bringing its total holdings to 2,898,051 shares, with a total value of approximately $98.9 million. At the same time, the board decided to liquidate its entire position in the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), which was valued at $63.7 million in the previous quarter.

Although the holdings of the Blackrock iShares Bitcoin Trust increased, the dollar value of the investment actually decreased by $228,227 due to the decline in market prices. This resulted in the board's total dollar exposure to the spot Bitcoin ETF declining by approximately 39% at the end of the quarter.

However, the Wisconsin Investment Board also took action on other crypto-related assets. They purchased 5,980 shares of Coinbase, increasing their total holdings to 98,446 shares, with a total value of nearly $21.9 million. Additionally, the board increased its holdings in Bitcoin miner Marathon Digital, adding 77,996 shares, bringing its total holdings to 115,084 shares, with a total value of approximately $2.3 million.
