Binance.US will suspend operations for customers in Washington state and close all accounts located in the state on August 20. Binance.US no longer has a license to operate in Washington state.
The deadline for filing claims in the Terraform Labs bankruptcy case is set at 5:00 am Beijing time on August 22. Users who filed claims against TFL before January 21, 2024 and those who filed claims against TLL before July 1, 2024 must submit their claims before that date.
The Japanese parliament will hold a special meeting in the lower house committee on August 23 to discuss the Bank of Japan's interest rate hike. Bank of Japan Governor Kazuo Ueda will attend the parliamentary hearing at 9:30 a.m. local time on August 23 (8:30 a.m. Beijing time), and Japanese Finance Minister Shunichi Suzuki will also attend the meeting.
Federal Reserve Chairman Powell is scheduled to deliver a speech on the economic outlook at 22:00 Beijing time on August 23, setting the tone for the September interest rate cut window.

The QuickSwap proposal vote on whether to launch QuickPerps Hydra on Manta Pacific will end at 17:00 on August 19.
The voting for Arbitrum DAO’s proposal to establish a Strategic Treasury Management Group (ASTMG) will end on August 23.
