Popular on-chain detective ZachXBT just announced on the X platform (formerly Twitter) that a whale wallet has made a suspicious transaction with a large amount of Bitcoin, thereby raising suspicions that the wallet may have been hacked. Specifically, 7 hours ago, 4,064 BTC, worth about $238 million, was transferred from this victim's wallet.
Notably, the Bitcoins were then dispersed across various platforms including THORChain, XCH, Kucoin, ChangeNow, Railgun, and AVA Bridge. Except for Kucoin, all of these platforms are commonly used to launder money or conceal the origin of digital assets, making the transaction all the more suspicious.

The identity of the victim and the exact purpose of this transaction are currently unknown, but the crypto community is closely monitoring for new clues.
