▌ VanEck insists on moving forward with Solana ETF plan despite Cboe filing removal
Although Cboe Global Markets has removed the VanEck Solana ETF's 19b-4 regulatory filing from its website, VanEck is still pushing forward with its Solana ETF plan. Matthew Sigel, head of digital asset research at VanEck, confirmed that VanEck's solicitation document (S-1) is still valid even though the document is no longer visible. Cboe filed an application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in July seeking to list the Solana ETF on its exchange and asked the SEC to make a decision by March. Sigel said VanEck believes that Solana (SOL) is similar to Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), a commodity rather than a security, and will continue to promote this plan with exchange partners.
▌ SkyBridge founder: Cryptocurrency voters may cause Harris to lose the US election
U.S. presidential candidate Kamala Harris could lose the U.S. election by failing to appeal to voters who support cryptocurrency, according to SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci.
“Let’s say there are only 25 million people in the U.S. who own crypto, but let’s say 5% of them are single-issue voters…if they’re in a swing state in the U.S., she’s going to lose the election,” Scaramucci said.
Scaramucci, who served as the White House Communications Director for the Trump administration, admitted that the U.S. Democratic Party’s attitude toward the cryptocurrency industry has been “a disaster.” Although most people in the cryptocurrency community seem to support Donald Trump because of his pro-crypto campaign stance, Scaramucci believes that he is not an ideal candidate for cryptocurrency.
"He's the most transactional person you'll ever meet. Today he's pro-crypto; tomorrow, he may or may not be pro-crypto," Scaramucci said.

▌Opinion : TON and Telegram’s key role in Web3 games
Catizen CEO David Mak and Foundation Chairman Tim Wong discussed the importance of Telegram's Open Network (TON) in Web3 games in an interview. TON's huge user base and incentive mechanism provide an ideal platform for Web3 games, helping to solve the problem of user acquisition. Catizen successfully converted a large number of users into high-quality users by combining in-app blockchain (IAB) and in-app purchases (IAP).
In addition, Catizen recently launched the "Catizen vibe, heal the world" charity project, using the proceeds to rescue stray cats and receiving positive feedback through community activities.

▌ Infinit launches “DeFi abstraction layer” to help launch customized DApps
Cryptocurrency developer Infinit has announced the launch of a “DeFi abstraction layer,” a tool that allows anyone to launch a custom dApp or scale an existing dApp in minutes.
The team said: “The infrastructure simplifies the development process without the need for complex coding languages like Solidity or Rust. At a later stage, non-developers will be able to launch and scale DeFi protocols directly from Infinit’s user-friendly interface, with no coding required at all. With support from companies such as Electric Capital and Mirana Ventures, Infinit has facilitated over $630 million in TVL across 12 protocols.”

Ethereum DApp transaction volume dropped 33% in the past week
Ethereum (ETH) decentralized application (DApps) transaction volume plummeted 33% to $39.04 billion in the past week. The decline reflects the contraction of the overall cryptocurrency market, although Ethereum still leads in total locked value (TVL) and transaction volume. Ethereum spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) performed mediocrely, leading to capital outflows and limiting ETH price gains.
While Ethereum’s TVL has increased by 9% in 30 days to $18.6 million, the TVL of the BNB chain has decreased. The Ethereum network’s decline in on-chain activity could have a negative impact on ETH prices, despite record high activity for second-layer solutions such as Base, Optimism, and Arbitrum. This broad decrease in activity points to a general waning of interest across the crypto industry.
▌ Polygon executive: RWA is a $30 trillion opportunity
Colin Butler, head of global institutional capital at Polygon, said that tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) represent a $30 trillion market opportunity globally. High net worth individuals and private equity funds will drive adoption in this area as tokenization brings liquidity and accessibility.
Butler pointed out that the current market for tokenized real-world assets has reached $11.66 billion and is expected to grow significantly in the future. About $9 billion has been invested in tokenized private credit instruments, with major examples including KKR and Hamilton Lane. Butler expects that tens of billions of dollars in tokenized private assets will be issued in the next few years. Currently, there are about $11.6 billion in tokenized RWAs held on blockchain networks, with the most popular being tokenized money market funds such as BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund and Franklin OnChain US Government Money Fund.

The two parties plan to use this information to create an "integrated risk engine" to help traditional financial services more effectively address anti-money laundering and compliance challenges. Elliptic's Holistic technology will play a key role in the service, tracking the flow of criminal proceeds across blockchains in an efficient and scalable manner.

▌Trump : I have the right to comment on interest rate policy, but the Fed does not have to listen
Facing criticism that he is undermining the Fed's autonomy, Trump downplayed criticism that he should be able to freely share his views on interest rate policy. "I think the president can speak. That doesn't mean they have to listen," Trump said Monday after an event in the swing state of Pennsylvania. Trump said he "tirelessly counseled" Fed Chairman Powell on interest rates during his tenure, "which may or may not have had an effect." According to NBC News, Democratic presidential candidate Harris called for raising the corporate tax rate to 28%, her first major proposal as a presidential candidate, aimed at increasing government revenue and funding the expensive programs she wants to promote. Harris' campaign spokesman James Singer said Harris will push for a 28% corporate tax rate, calling it "a fiscally responsible way to put money back in the pockets of working people and ensure that billionaires and large companies pay a fair share." If the policy is implemented, it will raise hundreds of billions of dollars. At the same time, it will also overturn a large part of the legislation signed by former President Donald Trump when he was president, which reduced the corporate tax rate from 35% to 21%. At the same time, Trump recently said that if he is elected president, he will further cut taxes, including for businesses.

What is Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS)?
DPoS is an evolution of the Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, designed to provide enhanced scalability, efficiency, and democratic governance. Daniel Larimer proposed the concept of DPoS in 2014 as an enhancement to the traditional PoS consensus mechanism, designed to improve efficiency and scalability. Larimer first shared his vision in a Bitcointalk forum post, which led to the actual implementation of DPoS and the launch of BitShares in 2015. This marked the beginning of DPoS in blockchain technology, laying the foundation for its adoption in other projects such as Steem and Eos. Eos, in particular, used the consensus mechanism to conduct one of the largest initial coin offerings (ICOs) in the cryptocurrency industry in 2017, which attracted a lot of attention to DPoS and highlighted its potential in achieving high performance and decentralized governance.
