Optimism is adopting the cross-chain intent standard ERC-7683 written by Across and Uniswap Labs

Odaily Odaily News Layer 2 solution Optimism announced the adoption of the ERC-7683 cross-chain intent standard, which was jointly proposed by Across and Uniswap Labs. This initiative aims to achieve high-speed ETH and USDC transfers on Superchain and further promote application-layer interoperability in the broader Ethereum ecosystem. Optimism has integrated Across's intent-based bridging solution to provide fast bridging capabilities to the Superchain ecosystem through the Superbridge and Brid.gg interfaces. This move is in line with Vitalik's vision for the future of Ethereum and is committed to solving the problem of decentralization within and outside the Superchain ecosystem. Optimism plans to achieve protocol-level interoperability by adding native interoperability to the OP Stack, and promote application-layer interoperability using open source standard interfaces.
