Odaily reports that according to BlackRock's official update on the spot Bitcoin ETF data, as of August 20, the market value of IBIT reached $20,874,622,158.8, and the holdings increased to 351,454.495 Bitcoins.

The Bitwise report indicates that although the price of Bitcoin fell 12% in the second quarter, the number of Bitcoin ETFs held by institutional investors increased significantly, growing 14% year-over-year to 1,100 funds. The share of holdings by institutional investors also increased from 18.74% to 21.15%, with the total assets under management of their Bitcoin ETFs reaching $11 billion. Bitwise's Chief Investment Officer, Matt Hougan, stated that this is a positive signal. Despite the volatility in Bitcoin's price, institutional investors' interest in Bitcoin remains undiminished.
