Will first say that the arrest of Telegram’s founder, Pavel Durov, is the event that’s getting most of the world’s attention right now. At first glance seems like an attack on free speech. Makes many, including myself, to again remember people like Alexey Pertsev, Ross Ulbricht and others, who are imprisoned for creating a tech allowing different types of freedom. Hope for their quick release first of all.
Telegram is an amazing app, I use it a lot, and hope it keeps functioning and maintains its freedom of speech and the ability to share information.
If Pavel is a good man like I think he is, I hope he is quickly released and keeps running what I see as one of the best companies in the world.
