According to Trader T's monitoring, in August 2024, the US Bitcoin spot ETF had a net outflow of $94 million, of which: -BlackRock IBIT increased its holdings by 14,531 BTC, with a net inflow of $887 million, and currently holds 357,509 BTC; -Grayscale BTC had a net inflow of $330 million, -WisdomTree BTCW had a net inflow of $139 million; -Grayscale GBTC had a net outflow of $910 million; -Most other ETFs experienced capital outflows in August.

According to SoSoValue data, during the last trading week (August 26 to August 30, Eastern Time), the net outflow of BTC spot ETFs was $277 million. Among them, the Grayscale ETF GBTC had a net outflow of $119 million. The BTC spot ETF with the highest net inflow last week was the Franklin Templeton ETF EZBC, with a weekly net inflow of $5.52 million. The second was the WisdomTree ETF BTCW...

Bitcoin spot ETFs saw a net outflow of $277 million last week

Odaily recently published an article by Galaxy Research stating that since its launch, the trading volume of the Ethereum spot ETF has been significantly lower than that of the Bitcoin spot ETF, and both are far lower than the trading volume and market capitalization ratio of ETH/BTC CEX. Multiple factors have led to this result, the most important of which is that the major trading platforms have not yet provided margin for the ETH ETF. To control some of these factors, such as the lack of margin availability, the performance of the first 25 days of each product group can be compared. During this period, the ratio of trading volume between the Ethereum ETF and the Bitcoin ETF has continued to decline.
