Dolomite co-founder Corey Caplan has been named an advisor to the World Liberty Financial project, which is backed by former President Donald Trump. The project added that more collaborators will be announced in the coming days.
Caplan co-founded Dolomite, a DeFi platform that describes itself as a next-generation money market platform and decentralized exchange. Dolomite launched on Arbitrum One in October 2022 and has since expanded to other blockchain ecosystems, including Polygon's zkEVM, Mantle, and X Layer. The platform offers a variety of services such as margin trading, lending, and portfolio management.
World Liberty Financial is an unlaunched cryptocurrency project promoted by Donald Trump and his sons Eric and Donald Jr. Trump recently posted on X, tagged World Liberty Financial, and Chia a video in which he promised to make the United States the “cryptocurrency capital of the world.”
Exact details of the project, including the services it will provide and the Trump family’s specific Vai , remain unclear. World Liberty Financial also said it would announce additional team members in the coming days, calling Caplan’s involvement with the project “the beginning of many things to come.”
