블록체인 전문 컨설팅 기업 071랩스가 인공지능(AI) 투자를 목적으로 분산형 AI 플랫폼 마이쉘(Myshell)에 투자했다고 16일 발표했다.
마이쉘은 도쿄에 본사를 둔 BNB 기반 AI 플랫폼으로 유저들에게 AI 에이전트 구축, 공유, 소유를 제공한다. 현재 100만명 등록 사용자와 5만명 이상의 크리에이터를 보유하고 있다.
071랩스는 마이쉘이 진행한 투자라운드 참여의 일환이다. 마이쉘의 투자라운드에는 ▲바이낸스 랩스 ▲오케이 벤쳐스 등의 유명 투자사들이 참여, 총 1600만달러(한화 약 213억원) 이상을 모금했다.
071랩스 관계자는 "AI 기술의 잠재력을 높게 평가, AI 기반 애플리케이션 지원과 발전에 기여해온 마이쉘 프로젝트에 투자하게 되었다"며 "이번 투자를 통해 마이쉘이 AI와 블록체인을 활용, 탄탄한 크리에이터 기반의 경제 생태계 구축할 것을 기대하고 있다"고 밝혔다.
