According to Coinglass data, the total open interest in Bitcoin futures contracts across the network is 525,200 BTC (approximately $31.13 billion). Among them, the open interest in CME Bitcoin contracts is 149,500 BTC (approximately $8.855 billion), ranking first; the open interest in Binance Bitcoin contracts is 116,700 BTC (approximately $6.914 billion), ranking second.

According to the news from Mars Finance, on September 16, Bitfinex released a report stating that "Bitcoin has recently rebounded strongly, rising more than 15% from its recent low of $52,756, supported by a significant increase in inflows to Bitcoin ETFs. Over the past week, Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net inflow of $403.9 million, reversing the long-term trend of capital outflows and indicating a recovery in investor confidence in the asset. This rebound is mainly driven by positive buying in the spot market. In contrast, the volatility in the futures and perpetual contract markets is relatively small, indicating that the current price increase is primarily based on real capital inflows rather than speculative leverage, providing a more sustainable basis for this rebound.

However, Bitcoin currently faces a critical resistance level between $60,500 and $61,000, which has played a key role since early March. Although ETF inflows remain strong, there are signs that the market may stagnate, as the spot CVD (order book imbalance) has stabilized over the weekend. The market's volatility this week is likely to be higher, mainly driven by investors' expectations of the Federal Reserve's decision. Whether the rate cut is 25 basis points or 50 basis points, it may affect market sentiment. At the same time, the correlation between Bitcoin and the US stock market is strengthening, indicating that the volatility in traditional financial markets may increasingly impact Bitcoin's price. Bitcoin has also decoupled from gold, which hit a new all-time high last week, reflecting a shift in investors' preference for traditional safe-haven assets in a risk-averse environment.
