According to Foresight News , the public lightning network Fiber Network underlying protocol released by CKB, a native solution of the BTC ecosystem, has launched a complete beta version. This version has implemented multi-hop routing and monitoring services for developers to self-test. The Fiber Network mainnet is scheduled to be launched in November.
Fiber Network is a next-generation public lightning network based on CKB and off-chain channels, which can provide fast, low-cost, decentralized multi-currency payments and P2P transactions. It is now available on the Fiber Network official website. Previously, Fiber Network launched a basic version in early September, which supports the creation, update and closure of channels between two nodes, supports the establishment of any RGB++ Coin channel, and can support cross-chain interoperability with the Bitcoin Lightning Network.
