Solana Announces Official Name of New Phone Line Seeker, Over 140,000 Pre-Orders
As Coin68 reported, after the overwhelming success of the Saga phone line, Solana announced its intention to produce a new phone line . Previously, this line was tentatively named Chapter 2 with more than 60,000 pre-orders .
Today, within the framework of the TOKEN2049 event taking place in Singapore, the Solana team announced the official name of the new smartphone, Seeker.

The name Seeker is inspired by a quote by the late British writer and orator Alan Watts:
“A seeker is someone who understands that there is more than meets the eye, who is unafraid and makes the choice to go into the unknown."
Solana Mobile CEO Emmett Hollyer Chia :
“We believe this name accurately conveys the nature of both the device and the people who use it.
While the name Saga is defined by the story of bringing web3 mobile on Solana to life, the name Seeker is about what the device can do."
Pre-sales of the new phone have now exceeded 140,000 units across 57 countries. The Seeker is expected to ship in mid-2025.

Seeker is available for “Early Founder” pre-sale at $450 and ends on September 21. After that, the price will return to the normal $500.
Solana Seeker features include the Seed Vault Wallet, described as the first mobile cryptocurrency wallet with built-in device self-storage seed vault. This is technology created in partnership with Solflare.
