Ethena's website has been hacked, users are advised not to interact with the website or any organization claiming to be Ethena at this time.
According to a social media post by Ethena Labs, the site’s domain management account was compromised , so the team has disabled the site until the issue is resolved.
The project also reassured customers that the Ethena protocol was not affected by the attack and all customer funds are safe.
Security firm Blockaid also warned Ethena users who were connected to the site at the time of the attack not to sign any transactions and to disconnect their wallets “immediately.”
MetaMask also issued a warning to users about fake MetaMask websites that are exploiting the Ethena vulnerability to scam users, steal passphrases, and leak passwords. MetaMask flagged the Ethena website as a “phishing site,” advising users not to visit it until further notice.
