Cardano Founder Meets Argentine President Javier Milei
Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, will meet with Argentine President Javier Milei in October to discuss the crypto economy.
Hoskinson is heading to Tech Forum Argentina to discuss the future of blockchain technology in a conversation with the President of Argentina scheduled for October 19, the Cardano founder Chia with TinTucBitcoin in an interview.
At the upcoming meeting, Hoskinson hopes to address blockchain's potential to transform global economic, political, and social systems.
He said he would also raise questions about Argentina's value and needs in the technology landscape, whether the country should create a central bank digital currency ( CBDC ) and the partners it needs to rebuild its economy.

“We have had a lot of discussions with his administration, and I will meet with him probably on the 19th, but if not at that time, then in the meantime, we have had discussions with people who work with him about what the future of blockchain looks like,” Hoskinson said. He added:
“This is not just a conversation about Cardano, but a big tech family.”
Solana Launches New Seeker Device: More Than Just a “Memecoin Phone”
Solana has announced its latest smartphone, the “Seeker.” The device costs half as much as its predecessor, the Saga, and according to the team, it’s more than just a “memecoin phone.”
The Seeker's predecessor, a smartphone called the Saga, was criticized last year for its technical capabilities not being comparable to devices like the iPhone or Google Pixel.
Hollyer says the Seeker will feature a higher-quality display, better camera, and upgraded battery, making it “lighter, brighter, and better” than the Saga.

The phone will also come with financial incentives for users, but the development team doesn't want users to think that this is just a phone to get free Token .
“Seeker, like Saga, will be a reward magnet, but at the same time, it’s a huge opportunity for development teams to create entirely new experiences,” said Solana Labs CEO Emmett Hollyer, adding that the new device will feature an upgraded decentralized application ( DApp ) store and improved hardware.
“This is not a memecoin phone. It will enable all the great use cases on the network, whether it's memecoin, DeFi , payments, or gaming.”
Hollyer believes that an open and unrestricted DApp store will allow developers to quickly launch and deploy new applications to Seeker users, thereby better capturing emerging trends and use cases.
US Lawmakers Want SEC to Clarify Cryptocurrency
US Republican lawmaker French Hill said SEC enforcement is making it difficult for “legitimate actors trying to comply with regulation” in a scathing statement delivered during a House Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Inclusion hearing on September 18.
The hearing, dubbed by lawmakers as “Confusion and Confusion: Analyzing the SEC’s Politicized Approach to Digital Assets,” was attended by congressional figures from both sides of the American political spectrum, with at least one Democrat siding with Republicans on the issue.
