According to Foresight News , the Metaverse platform Decentraland tweeted that it has restored control of the X account. The attack was caused by a team member receiving a phishing email disguised as X platform support, which contained a fake login attempt. In order to protect the account, the team member clicked on the change password, but was still attacked and stolen. Officials said that users need to be vigilant and Decentraland will never provide sudden airdrops.
