On September 20, BingX Chief Product Officer Vivien Lin posted on the X platform: At around 4 a.m., the technical team detected abnormal network access and suspected that BingX's hot wallet was under attack by hackers. The emergency plan was immediately activated, including emergency asset transfer and suspension of withdrawals . Currently, BingX has suffered minor asset losses, the amount is not large, and the specific amount is being calculated. In order to compensate for this impact, the team is developing a compensation plan, which will be announced later.
Vivien said that in order to protect the security of user assets, BingX has always adopted a layered asset management solution, with most assets stored in cold wallets and only a small amount of hot wallet assets reserved for user withdrawal needs. In order to ensure the safety of assets, the deposit and withdrawal time will be extended, and the wallet service will be urgently inspected and reinforced. BingX deeply apologizes for the inconvenience caused. Withdrawals will be processed within 24 hours.
