Grayscale has just released its Q4/2024 digital asset market research report, analyzing trends and updating data for the Crypto Sector Index Series (CSIS). Specifically, this report has selected 20 coins that they believe will grow strongly in the fourth quarter, including names such as BTC, ETH, SOL, TON, LINK, NEAR, UNI, Sui, TAO, STX, AAVE, OP, AR, MKR, HNT, LDO, AKT, AERO, Celo, UMA
In Q4 2024, Grayscale added 6 new cryptocurrencies to this list, including:
- Sui (Sui): High performance Layer-1 Blockchain.
- Bittensor (TAO): Global AI System Development Platform.
- Optimism (OP): Ethereum scaling solution based on Optimistic Rollups technology.
- Helium (HNT): Decentralized wireless network running on Solana.
- Celo (Celo): Layer-1 blockchain project transitioning to Ethereum Layer-2, focusing on payments and stablecoins.
- UMA Protocol (UMA): Oracle powers Polymarket, a blockchain-based prediction market.
At the same time, 6 projects were removed from the Top 20 list: Render Network (RENDER), Mantle Network (MNT), THORChain (RUNE), Pendle Finance (Pendle), Illuvium (ILV), and Raydium (RAY). Grayscale asserted that these projects still have high value, but no longer meet the criteria for potential profit growth in the coming quarter.
