Binance May Be Delisting These 5 Altcoins Soon, Here's What You Need to Know

Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has issued a warning about the possibility of delisting five altcoins from its trading list.

The decision comes as the exchange added Bluzelle (BLZ), CLV (CLV), SelfKey (KEY), Prosper (PROS), and VITE (VITE) to its Monitoring tag, indicating closer scrutiny due to increased volatility and risk.

The monitoring tag is Binance’s method of indicating Token that may no longer meet their strict listing standards. The evaluation criteria are comprehensive, ranging from the commitment of the project’s development team, the quality and level of development activity, to volume and liquidation. It also XEM account the stability and security of the network and its response to Binance’s periodic audit requests.

As a result, this warning triggered a sharp drop in the prices of these five altcoins. VITE was hit the hardest, down nearly 25%. PROS and CLV followed with drops of 15.74% and 15.22% respectively. Despite the market decline, KEY and BLZ have shown some resilience. KEY initially dropped 9% in value, but has since recovered, currently down 7.35%. BLZ also experienced a quick 12% drop, but has largely regained its position, currently down only 4.54%.

Furthermore, in another move, Binance removed the Seed tag for two Altcoins, Pendle (Pendle) and Sei (Sei). This adjustment suggests that these Token have stabilized and are now considered less risky. Seed listings typically highlight newer projects that are inherently more volatile and risky.

For those who trade Token under the Monitoring tag or Seed tag, Binance requires users to pass specific tests every 90 days. These tests are intended to ensure that traders are fully aware of the risks involved.
