Binance announces that it will start exchanging KLAY tokens for KAIA. This decision will affect aspects such as deposit, withdrawal, and trading of KLAY pairs on the exchange.
At 10:00 am on October 28, 2024 (Vietnam time), Binance will delist all existing KLAY trading pairs (including KLAY/BTC and KLAY/USDT) and cancel all pending KLAY orders. By 3:00 pm on October 31, 2024 (Vietnam time), Binance will open trading for the KAIA/USDT pair.
According to Binance, the conversion ratio between KLAY and KAIA will be 1:1.
At 10:30 am on October 28, 2024 (Vietnam time), the deposit and withdrawal of KLAY tokens will be suspended. Users are kindly requested to ensure the completion of KLAY deposits before this time to avoid disruption.
The deposit of KAIA tokens will start at 2:00 pm on October 31, 2024 (Vietnam time). After this time, the deposit and withdrawal of KLAY tokens will no longer be supported.
Binance Futures will delist the KAIA futures contract at 4 pm on October 22 (Vietnam time). Accordingly, users will not be able to open new positions for this contract from 3:30 pm on October 22 (Vietnam time).
In addition, Binance will also change the trading of KAIA/BTC and KAIA/USDT margin. At 1 pm on October 23, 2024, the cross and isolated margin trading of these pairs will be temporarily suspended. On October 23, 2024, Binance will close positions, perform automatic settlement, and cancel all pending buy and sell orders. Users are advised to close their positions and transfer their assets before this time to avoid potential losses.
