After nearly a month of launching the TGE event and listing the HMSTR token, the prominent project in the tap-to-earn field, Hamster Kombat, continues to attract attention with the announcement of the Season 2 Airdrop. The development team has shared detailed information about the upcoming important changes in the gameplay and the development plan of the game through an official article and video clip.
Noteworthy changes in Season 2 of Hamster Kombat
In an exclusive interview with The Block, the Hamster Kombat founders revealed the new gameplay updates to attract users, including:
- Players become the "platform game" operators of their own, upgrading from the role of CEO of virtual cryptocurrency exchanges in Season 1. This opens up greater opportunities for players to participate in operational decisions in the game.
- Integration with third-party games, allowing multi-platform connectivity Web2/Web3/Desktop, thereby expanding the reach to areas where Telegram is not widely used.
Details about the Season 2 Airdrop
According to the official statement, Hamster Kombat will allocate 15% of the total HMSTR token supply for the Season 2 Airdrop, with the implementation expected at the end of October 2024. This is part of the plan to expand and maintain the user base of the game after the feedback on the first airdrop, when many players felt the token value was not commensurate with the effort they had put in.
Notably, Hamster Kombat affirms that the project does not receive funding from Venture Capital funds but self-funds its development from other revenue sources such as YouTube and Telegram advertising.
