Across Co-Creation initiated a proposal to permanently fix the total supply of ACX at 1 billion

Odaily Planet Daily Report: Across co-founder Hart Lambur has initiated a proposal on to seek community approval to fix the total supply of ACX tokens at 1 billion. Hart stated that LayerZero founder Bryan Pellegrino recently criticized Across' token design, claiming that the ACX ERC20 token contract is vulnerable to unauthorized token minting. The Across team disagrees with his allegations. However, in the spirit of decentralization and transparency, we propose to make this change to permanently fix the ACX token supply at 1 billion. This change does not require any modification to the ACX contract, but only relinquishing Across Governance's ownership of the ACX token contract, thereby preventing any party from altering the token supply through minting or burning in the future.
