Vitalik: Solana is too centralized compared to Ethereum, and it does differ from Ethereum’s market goals

Odaily Star Daily Report: In an interview with Foresight News, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said: "On the internet, many people have said some ideas that I find strange, such as the values of Ethereum are useless, and Crypto is a gambling market. But in the Ethereum community, there are some people, including many Chinese, who participate in Ethereum's goals because we have some particularly valued values and life ideals. We want to create an open world, a decentralized blockchain and platform, we will do some sustainable applications, and we will do some applications that are better for society." In addition, Vitalik responded to "how to view Solana" by saying: "I think they are really much more centralized than Ethereum. First, running Solana nodes is much more difficult than running Ethereum nodes; second, Solana's PoS is more centralized; third, the community has more things that are directly supported by the Solana Foundation. And the applications of Solana have much less demand for decentralization than Ethereum. I think their pursuit of some market goals is really different from Ethereum."
