Odaily Planet Daily Report: K33 Research stated that the premium of CME Bitcoin futures contracts over the spot market price has declined. According to data from crypto data tracking company Amberdata, the open interest of put options with a strike price of $80,000 has surged in the past 24 hours. Vetle Lunde, research director at K33 research, said: "The market seems to be cooling down, the CME benchmark contract (premium) has been declining since yesterday's close, hovering around 10% throughout the day, lower than the 13%-16% since the US election, which may be a subtle hint of easing risk conditions." The unwinding of leveraged bullish bets across the crypto market has contributed to Bitcoin's pullback from its record high. According to data compiled by Coinglass, long positions were liquidated at twice the rate of short positions in the past 24 hours, at $447 million and $207 million, respectively.
