In this video, I’m exposing a clever but subtle crypto scam that’s been lurking in the comments section of YouTube videos, including mine. Scammers post comments pretending to need help with their wallet and share a 12-word seed phrase. But it’s a trap. Here’s how it works: The scam involves a multi-sig wallet, requiring multiple keys to withdraw funds. When someone tries to “steal” the wallet by restoring it, they’ll see a lot of USDT on Tron in the wallet but find they can’t withdraw it because of insufficient Tron for fees. Hoping to get the Tether out, they deposit some Tron to cover the transaction fees. Once Tron is deposited, the scammer—who holds the other key—sweeps the wallet, taking the Tron for themselves. This scam is sneaky because it preys on people’s greed. Even though it targets would-be thieves, anyone could fall for it if they don’t understand how multi-sig wallets work. In this video, I break down the scam step-by-step, explain how you can spot it, and give tips to avoid falling for traps like this. Stay safe out there and never engage with suspicious seed phrases or wallets. Join this channel to get access to perks: www.youtube.com/channel/UC68x_...
