PANews, December 3 news, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong tweeted that he has notified all law firms that Coinbase will terminate cooperation if they hire personnel who have "engaged in misconduct" in the previous SEC management team.
This statement is aimed at the recent hiring of former SEC Enforcement Division chief Gurbir S. Grewal by Milbank law firm. Armstrong said that trying to suppress the cryptocurrency industry while refusing to formulate clear rules is a "moral violation", and the industry should not continue to support the employers of these people. He emphasized that he does not oppose these people from working in other fields, but called on the cryptocurrency industry to jointly resist such hiring practices to express its position.
