Insider testimony "President-elect Trump to appoint Gensler's successor tomorrow"
The new chairman to replace Gary Gensler at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is expected to be announced tomorrow.
Fox Business cryptocurrency reporter Eleni Tarrant reported on her X account on the 3rd that the President-elect Trump will announce the new SEC chairman. She emphasized, "Based on the testimony of the source, the President-elect Trump will announce the new chairman to replace Gensler tomorrow. Keep an eye on it."
During his term, Chairman Gensler has continued to enforce regulations on many cryptocurrency companies in the U.S., claiming that "most cryptocurrencies except are securities." Based on his actions, the cryptocurrency community has identified Gensler as a key figure who has suppressed the cryptocurrency market.
As Gensler announced his voluntary resignation on January 20 next year, the altcoins that have been in litigation with the SEC are currently recording a surge.
The leading candidates currently being mentioned are Dan Gallagher, general counsel of Robinhood, Brian Brooks, former CEO of Binance, and SEC commissioners Mark Uyeda and Hester Peirce.
