Justin Sun delivered a video speech at the TBW Summit: PayFi represents a new model for building financial markets

Justin Sun, the founder of TRON and a member of the Global Advisory Committee of Huobi HTX, delivered a video speech at the Taipei Blockchain Week event held in Taiwan, China. He stated that PayFi represents a new model for building financial markets, creating financial primitives and product experiences around the time value of money. PayFi aims to establish a programmable monetary system that provides users with economic sovereignty and self-custody capabilities. He pointed out that through innovative scenarios such as earning interest through staking and consumption, PayFi can effectively solve some of the pain points faced by Web 3 practitioners, such as the problem of disrupted capital flows. The Taipei Blockchain Week event was held from December 12 to 14 in Taiwan, China, with the theme "Onboard". The event covered 3 stages, featured more than 200 speakers, and had over 60 sponsors and partners, all dedicated to promoting the adoption and innovation of Web3.
