Foresight News reported that the HashKey Gala Day, co-hosted by HashKey Global and Blocktempo, was held at the Taiwan Blockchain Week today. The documentary film "Vitalik: The Story of Ethereum" had its Taiwan premiere. Tim Xing, Board of Director of HashKey Global, Francis Li, Head of Architect of HashKey Chain, as well as renowned professors, prosecutors, and lawyers in Taiwan attended the event and shared the important stories of HashKey's and Ethereum's early development. HashKey executives stated that the team noticed the Ethereum project in 2014 and provided a $500,000 donation to the Ethereum Foundation in 2015 to help solve its cash flow issues at the time.
The event also premiered the documentary film "Vitalik: The Story of Ethereum" for the Taiwan community for the first time. The film documents Vitalik Buterin and the Ethereum community's struggle for an open internet. It is worth noting that the documentary completed the largest crowdfunding in blockchain history in 2021, raising 1,036 Ether to provide budget support for the film production.
