The "HashKey Gala Day" co- BlockTempoby HashKey Global and BlockTempo was held today (December 13) during Taipei Blockchain Week (TBW), and ushered in the documentary of Ethereum co-founder Buterin - Taiwan premiere of "Vitalik: The Story of Ethereum". This activity has attracted great attention from Taiwan’s blockchain community.
Tim Xing , director of HashKey Global, and Francis Li, architect director of HashKey Chain, attended the event together with famous Taiwanese professors, local prosecutors and lawyers, and shared the key role played by HashKey in the early development of Ethereum.
According to HashKey executives, his team discovered the potential of Ethereum in 2014 and provided $500,000 in funding to the Ethereum Foundation in 2015 to help solve Ethereum's cash flow challenges at the time. This important financial support played a key role in ensuring the timely launch of the Ethereum mainnet and became a legend in the history of blockchain.
This event also screened the documentary "Vitalik: The Story of Ethereum" for the Taiwanese community for the first time. This film records the journey of Vitalik Buterin and the Ethereum community to build an open blockchain network. It is worth noting that in July 2021, the documentary achieved the largest crowdfunding campaign in blockchain history, raising 1,036 ETH, providing sufficient resources for its production.
The success of HashKey Gala Day not only deepened the Taiwan blockchain community's understanding of the origin and evolution of Ethereum, but also solidified HashKey's position as a key driver of innovation and growth in the blockchain industry.
