Binance Labs, the investment arm of the world's leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance, has just announced the launch of the ninth season of the MVB (Most Valuable Builder) program on the BNB Chain, with the registration deadline set for January 13, 2025 at 11:59 PM (UTC).
Highlights of MVB Season 9: AI and blockchain
This 4-week acceleration program is a collaboration between BNB Chain, Binance Labs, and CMC Labs, aimed at supporting early-stage Web3 project developers, particularly those exploring the intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI).
New features of Season 9
- Focus on AI: Prioritizing projects that use AI for innovation, such as intention-based DeFi, AI gaming, AI companions, data labeling solutions, and decentralized AI ecosystems like DataDAO and DeSci.
- Quarterly organization: The program is now held quarterly, providing more opportunities for potential Web3 developers.
- In-person networking event: A 2-day event in Hong Kong where participating teams can meet industry experts, advisors, and guest speakers.
- Automatic entry from BIA: Outstanding projects from the BNB Incubation Alliance events in Dubai, Bangkok, and Denver will be automatically entered into MVB Season 9.
Participating projects will receive:
- Specialized training program: Focusing on growth, security, tokenomics, go-to-market strategy, fundraising, and AI integration modules.
- 1:1 advisory support: Guidance from the Binance Labs, CMC Labs investment teams, and BNB Chain experts.
- Deployment support package: Resources worth up to $300,000, including technical support, infrastructure credits, and marketing tools.
- Investment opportunities: Access to potential investments from Binance Labs.
The successful history of MVB
Over the past eight seasons, MVB has supported 131 projects, with many notable achievements:
- 75 projects have received support from leading investment funds.
- More than 60 projects have successfully launched their tokens, with many listed on major exchanges.
- Notable names like Galxe, Mobox, SpaceID, SleeplessAI, and AltLayer are all alumni of the program.
In Season 8, less than 7% of the hundreds of applications were selected. The outstanding teams presented pioneering projects in DeFi, infrastructure, and AI, with many projects advancing to the investment evaluation round by Binance Labs.
