BTC Purchase on December 13..."Purchase Price of $100,880"
It has been revealed that Michael Saylor made his first BTC purchase at a price of over $100,000 per coin.
On the 16th, Michael Saylor announced through his X account the times when his company MicroStrategy purchased BTC. According to the BTC purchase times disclosed by Saylor, MicroStrategy made a BTC purchase at 5 PM on the 13th. The price of BTC at 5 PM on the 13th was $100,880, which is the first BTC transaction over $100,000 since MicroStrategy started accumulating BTC in 2020.
According to the BTC purchase graph released by Michael Saylor, Michael Saylor purchased BTC regardless of price and timing. MicroStrategy purchased BTC for 5 consecutive days from November 10th. They then continued to purchase BTC every Monday from November 25th to December 9th, with average purchase prices of $97,862, $95,976, and $98,783 respectively.
As BTC surpassed $100,000 and continued to set new highs, Michael Saylor stated that he will not stop additional BTC purchases. Following the pattern he has shown in recent weeks, if Michael Saylor proceeds with additional BTC purchases, MicroStrategy's total BTC holdings will exceed $50 billion (approximately 71.625 trillion won).
Michael Saylor emphasized, "I will not stop BTC purchases and will continue to buy even if BTC trades persistently above $100,000."
MicroStrategy has recorded a stock price increase of about 500% this year, thanks to founder Michael Saylor's "all-in BTC purchase strategy" that began in 2020. MicroStrategy's BTC holdings as of the 16th are approximately 423,650 BTC.
