ToggleHackers Used Drake's Twitter to Promote Fake Meme Coin $ANITA
A series of posts appeared on Drake's Twitter on 12/16, primarily promoting a meme coin called $ANITA and claiming it was launched in collaboration with the crypto gaming platform Stake. Stake is the well-known gaming platform that Drake himself uses, lending some credibility to the false information.

The name $ANITA is related to Drake's cartoon alter ego Anita Max Wynn, with the character inspired by Drake's love of gambling. The name is a pun on "I need a max win", leading many fans to believe $ANITA was launched by Drake himself.

$ANITA Trading Volume Briefly Surged to 5 Million USD Before Abruptly Stopping
Many users were influenced by the $ANITA-related posts, leading to a trading frenzy. According to DexScreener data, the $ANITA trading volume briefly spiked to 5 million USD. However, once investors realized the posts were false, the trading volume plummeted as buyers quickly withdrew. Shortly after, all the $ANITA-related posts were deleted from Drake's Twitter.
Celebrities Remain Targets for Hackers
This is not the first recent incident of a celebrity Twitter account being hacked. The Cardano Twitter was also compromised on 12/8, used to promote the fake meme coin $ADAsol, though its trading volume was only one-tenth of $ANITA's. Other victims include American musicians Cardi B, Doja Cat, and the rock band Metallica, indicating that hackers continue to target high-profile individuals to attract more unsuspecting victims.
