USDT market value exceeds $140 billion, a record high, an increase of $50 billion in the past year

Odaily reported that according to defillama data, the market cap of USDT has surpassed $140 billion, reaching a new all-time high. A year ago, on December 16, 2023, its supply was 90 billion. This means that in just 12 months, its market cap has increased by $50 billion. In the past 40 days alone, the supply of USDT has grown by about 20 billion. Additionally, as of December 16, 54.94% of all circulating USDT was issued on the Ethereum blockchain.
