The Monad Foundation will focus on supporting validator governance, community improvement proposals, providing developer documentation, and ecosystem promotion and consulting services. Some team members of Monad Labs, including the business development, community, marketing, and developer relations departments, have transferred to the Monad Foundation.
In addition, Monad Labs will be renamed to Category Labs, focusing on the development and research of Monad blockchain technology, led by James Hunsaker as the CEO. The Monad Foundation and Category Labs will be dedicated to ecosystem management and technical performance development respectively, laying the foundation for the future development of decentralized technology.
