The Digital Asset Exchange Association (DAXA) announced on the 20th that it has appointed Jaebin Cho, a partner at Barun Law Firm, and Sewoon Hwang, a senior researcher at the Capital Market Research Institute, as new advisory members.
Attorney Cho is currently serving as a member of the Financial Development Deliberation Committee of the Financial Services Commission, a legal advisory committee member, and an immunity deliberation committee member. He has also served as the first chief prosecutor of the Busan and Incheon District Prosecutors' Offices.
Senior Researcher Hwang is currently serving as the Chairman of the Self-Regulatory Review Committee of the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, the Private Sector Chairman of the Financial Services Commission’s Innovation Finance Review Committee, and an advisory member of the Financial Supervisory Service’s Financial Supervisory Advisory Committee.
Kim Jae-jin, Executive Vice Chairman of DAXA, said, “DAXA has consistently appointed advisory committee members with expertise and experience to seek objective advice and review,” and added, “We will discuss with all advisory committee members the various challenges that the domestic industry will face during the turbulent times in the global digital asset market.”
