OpenAI CEO Sam Altman "plays riddles", GPT-o3 may be unveiled tomorrow

Odaily reports that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman tweeted on the X platform today, hinting at the release of a new generation of reasoning AI model GPT-o3. In the tweet, Altman wrote "hohoho, see you tomorrow" and "found a clue, should say oh oh oh", with the repeated "o" and "h" suggesting that OpenAI may release the o3 model tomorrow. OpenAI is currently developing a new generation of reasoning model that will delve deeper into user inquiries. In terms of naming, they may skip "o2" to avoid trademark conflicts with the British telecom operator O2, and directly use "o3". The "12 Days of OpenAI" will enter the last day tomorrow, during which OpenAI has released the full-powered o1 model and launched related APIs, as well as upgrades in function calls, structured output, reasoning effort control, developer messages, and visual input.
