The Grayscale ETF GBTC had a net outflow of $57.36 million, while the Grayscale BTC Mini Trust ETF BTC had a net inflow of $6.40 million. Odaily reports that according to the latest report by K33 Research, institutional investors purchased 859,454 Bits in 2024, accounting for 4.3% of the total circulating supply, equivalent to 8 years' worth of Bit issuance. Among them, spot ETF funds cumulatively increased their holdings by 561,781 Bits, and the total AUM of US ETFs has reached 1.4 million Bits, with BlackRock's IBIT holding the largest amount of 542,653 Bits, valued at around $54 billion. On the public company side, they increased their holdings by 297,673 Bits in 2024, with MicroStrategy purchasing nearly 250,000 Bits through active financing strategies, and currently holding 439,000 Bits. The report points out that although about 230,000 Bits came from bankruptcy liquidations and seized assets (including Mt. Gox and the German government), institutional demand effectively absorbed the selling pressure. Currently, about 22% of the circulating supply is available for trading in the market, close to the 2021 high level.
